1. Shoptey is a marketplace, not the seller

Shoptey provides the storefront and checkout that independent merchants use to sell their own products. Each store you shop on is operated by its own merchant, who is the seller of record for anything you buy — not Shoptey. Product quality, accuracy of listings, and fulfillment are the merchant's responsibility.

2. Orders and payment

Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted payment page — we never see or store your card details. Orders are guest checkout only; no account is required to buy.

Prices, currency, and any shipping charge are set by the individual merchant, not Shoptey.

3. Order confirmation

After payment, you'll be redirected to an order confirmation page and, if your order is successfully placed, receive a confirmation email. Keep that email — it's your primary reference for the order.

4. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

Cancellation and return policies are set by the individual merchant you bought from. If you need a refund, contact the merchant directly first. Refunds, when issued, are processed manually by the merchant.

5. Payment disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error and can't resolve it with the merchant, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer or bank. Unresolved disputes may affect the merchant's ability to process future orders.

6. Limitation of liability

Shoptey facilitates the transaction and payment processing but isn't a party to the sale itself. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shoptey isn't liable for a merchant's product quality, listing accuracy, or fulfillment failures.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
